THE New Saints were crowned Premier League champions for the fourth time in six seasons yesterday, when they beat Aberystwyth 3- 1. Chris Sharp put TNS ahead on 58 minutes and a grabbed a second on 82 minutes. Steve Evans also netted and Luke Bowen scored Aber's goal.

LLANELLI knew that a win at PRESTATYN would hand them the title if Saints slipped up, and cantered home 5-1. Top-scorer Rhys Griffiths bagged a hat-trick and Jordan Follows and Lee Phillips were also on target. Dan Evans scored for Prestatyn.
