IF the Government's invidious hike in road-tax does go ahead in April 2009, here's a neat way of buying yourself 12 months' grace.
If your disc expires at the end of August, make sure you buy only six months. Come the end of January, you can retax and get 12 months at the old rate, rather than paying up to pounds 245 next July.See the full content of this document
