MERCEDES Benz is to mark the launch of the new generation E- Class this month by staging an ambitious journey for the new car.

All 33 of the cars, all diesel and some with 4- Matic all-wheel- drive, will travel from Mercedes' home base in Stuttgart in Germany to Beijing in China where local production of the executive saloon is starting.
