POLE STAR (1.50) can take another step towards the Cheltenham Festival by making it two wins from three starts over hurdles at Newbury on Wednesday.

Trained by James Fanshawe, better known on the Flat but a dual winner of the Champion Hurdle with Royal Gait and Hors La Loi III, the seven-year-old is likely to go for one of the big novice events at the Festival.
