Summary
FROM THE ROCKIES TO THE WYE
EXPERIENCE all the thrills of the Rockies without being eaten by a bear when you join a camping and canoeing adventure in Herefordshire's Wye Valley. Clamber into a Canadian canoe for a rafting expedition that takes you 100 miles downriver, camping out or spending nights in family hostels or B&Bs. The Wye is navigable all year round but best between March and October if you're planning to sleep out. Push away from the banks in the village of Glasbury above Hay and drift to Chepstow where the Wye flows into the Bristol Channel. Make side trips into the high country for rock climbs, mountain bike rides or caving expeditions if you really want to do the whole mountain man thing.See the full content of this document
