MASKED MARVEL foiled Michael Owen's hopes of a first Classic triumph to maintain John Gosden and William Buick's outstanding St Leger record at Doncaster yesterday.
Gosden was winning the race for the fourth time and, like Buick, the second year in succession following Arctic Cosmos's victory 12 months ago.
