'Idid modelling for six months when I was at school, so I like doing photo shoots. It's good to try new looks and make-up. My Hollyoaks character, Lisa, dresses down all the time in jeans and jumpers. I like dressing up to go out, but I don't spend loads on clothes. I like the Trafford Centre in Manchester because all the shops are under one roof.
I think it's ridiculous when people spend thousands on a handbag. But when I was 16 I went a bit mad and spent pounds 900 on a dress to wear to the Soap Awards. It was a silver halterneck satin dress, but I could hardly breathe in it, so I haven't worn it since. This year I chose something more sensible, by Liverpool designer Phil Armstrong, that I could dance in at the after-show party.See the full content of this document
