WREXHAM manager Dean Saunders suffered a double blow as HISTON piled on the misery for his side with a 1-0 win at the Glassworld Stadium. Saunders was absent from the touchline as he assisted Wales boss John Toshack in the 2-0 World Cup defeat at the Millennium Stadium which all but ends their hopes of getting to South Africa.

Josh Simpson got the only goal of the game as Histon cemented their play-off place while virtually ending the promotion hopes of the Dragons. Jack Midson also missed a penalty for the home side late on.
