Apparently, Mrs Ritchie is not very popular with buddies at the moment due to her attempts to get them to follow the teachings of Kabbalah. Her Madgesty is known for giving friends Kabbalah courses as birthday presents, but some are more grateful for her spiritual guidance than others.
The star's fallen out with Stella McCartney, who is reported to have criticised the 45-year-old's pressurising of her celebrity friends to open their cheque books to raise funds. Donations have been put towards securing headquarters in London, for which Madge is rumoured to have donated a large part of the pounds 3.6 million needed. Madge has been studying the religion, an offshoot of the Jewish faith, for seven years. Such is her devotion, she won't be performing on Friday nights during her tour, so she can observe Jewish Sabbath. Other effects seem to include son Rocco's long hair - many followers of Kabbalah wait to cut their son's hair until his third birthday.
