JUST two months ago Christian Mayse couldn't open a door, or turn on a light switch, but that all changed when he got a new pair of hands... or should that be paws? Christian, 11, suffers from Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, a rare muscle wasting disease.

His hands were so badly affected that simple, everyday tasks, like picking something up off the floor, became impossible. But now the brave boy has a new best friend to lend a helping paw - Adam the Golden Retriever.
