He got the phone number from a newspaper article and rang for information. But he had to go through four auditions before he was finally offered a permanent place in the band.

After a few hiccups, and an embarrassing appearance on the Late Late Show that Late Late Show that they were not ready for, the final line-up was Stephen, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch.
