IF any of us imagined the 7/7 bombing had changed Britain - we were wrong. If any of us thought the brutal slaughter of 52 innocent people by extremists might lead to the modernisation of Islam - some followers of whom are responsible for inciting a murderous hatred of all things Western - we were wrong about that as well.
