AMY Winehouse has flown to rocker Bryan Adams' luxury villa in the Caribbean to kick start her recovery from drug addiction.

Amy, 24, jetted off to Barbados on Friday, then took a private plane to the island of Mustique for the break at Adams' home, which he visits twice a year. Her dad Mitch said last night: "Amy has got stronger and healthier in the last two weeks and the holiday should help too. She has refused to be admitted into rehab but, hopefully, the break will mean rehab goes to her. She has started treatment and this will continue on holiday. I'd have liked to be with her, but she didn't want her old dad around."
