THE STORY: The daughter of a boxing trainer, Jackie Kallen (Ryan) was brought up in the fight world but as an adult she is stuck as a secretary to the director of the Cleveland Coliseum ring. After a bet with boxing kingpin Sam LaRocca (Shalhoub) she starts managing a reformed drug enforcer Luther Shaw (Epps).
